What if intensity is just the ideal circumstance for creating opportunities for cultivating silence within ourselves?
What if intense situations actually only exist to challenge us to strive for silence?
The Wanderer puts it best in their song Aren’t you meant to fly; “We chain ourselves to free ourselves.”
What if that is not something we need to overcome but just a fact of life that we need to accept in order to see the opportunity in any situation that seems just bad or negative?
The question to ask myself then becomes: what does this situation that I am in now provide me to work on?
Or, as Peter Crone likes to put it: “Life presents you with people and circumstances to reveal where you are not yet free.” then brings the question: what does this show me where I am still not free (stuck)?
